How You Can Help
Australia has been devastated by the fires that have ripped through much of the country this summer. One area that has seen the most damage from the fires is our unique wildlife. It is estimated that up to half a billion of our mammals and reptiles have perished. Thousands of injured animals are at wildlife rescue centres around the country receiving life saving treatment.
With such an overwhelming number of injured animals, many rescue centres are finding it hard to find the resources to effectively treat all the animals. The amount of bandages, dressings, ointments and other equipment needed to treat the burns is an important part of their operations. This is an area that we thought we were in a good position to help.
Sanokil’s Contribution
Like many businesses, Sanokil wanted to contribute in some way to the recovery efforts. Sanokil First Aid has donated a large number of dressings, bandages and other first aid items to the Rescue Collective at a drop off point on the South Coast of NSW. We hope that this will help the organisations ability to provide assistance to our loved wildlife.
We urge other businesses in Australia to pitch in where they can to provide assistance during this difficult time. As the fires die out we must not forget that the damage from these fires will take a long time to repair and organisations will need ongoing support.
